Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 10, 2026
1. Who operates DooLuma
DooLuma is operated by HSUEH CHIN KUN, an individual based in Taiwan. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
2. Who this website is for
Drawing content may be enjoyed by families, but retailer links, site searches, and support channels are intended to be managed by adults, including parents, legal guardians, caregivers, and teachers. The current website does not offer public user accounts, email subscriptions, comments, direct purchases, or child submissions. We do not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information. See the Children’s Privacy Notice.
3. Information we process
Information an adult chooses to provide: an email address, sender name, and message when the adult emails us. There is no website contact form.
Site-search information: words entered in the search field and related technical request information may be processed to return results and protect the website. Do not enter a child’s name or other personal information in the search field.
Technical and performance information: Hostinger and Cloudflare may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, requested pages, referrers, approximate country, security events, and website performance timing to host, deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and measure the website.
Affiliate information: Amazon links contain DooLuma’s affiliate identifier. Amazon may provide DooLuma with aggregate or transaction-level program reports such as clicks, ordered items, commissions, and returns. DooLuma does not receive a buyer’s full Amazon payment credentials from an affiliate link.
4. Why we use information
We use information to respond to adult-initiated email, return site-search results, operate and secure the website, diagnose errors, measure aggregate content and performance trends, administer the Amazon Associates relationship, meet legal obligations, and protect our rights. We do not use visitor data for behavioral advertising.
You may choose not to email us or enter a site search. If you do not provide the information needed for an email request or search, we may be unable to respond or return the requested results.
5. Service providers and external sites
The services currently enabled are limited to those needed to publish, protect, measure, and support the website and its Amazon affiliate links. Hostinger provides website hosting and related email or server services. Cloudflare provides content delivery, security, DNS, and privacy-focused Web Analytics. WordPress and the DooLuma site software provide publishing and site-search functionality. Amazon operates the external retailer pages reached through affiliate links. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy documentation and may process information outside Taiwan.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
DooLuma does not currently use GA4, Pinterest Tag, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies, or behavioral advertising. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics service does not use cookies or local storage for analytics and does not fingerprint individual visitors. Strictly necessary storage may be used to support website security, administrator sessions, and other functions required to operate the website. See the Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy.
7. Retention
Adult support emails are normally retained for up to two years after the request is closed, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for a dispute, security matter, or legal obligation. Cloudflare currently states that unsampled Web Analytics beacon data is retained for seven days and that dashboard analytics are available for the previous six months. Hosting and security logs follow operational provider periods or are retained longer only when reasonably necessary for security or legal purposes. Affiliate and tax records are retained for the periods required by applicable accounting and tax law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small website and limit access to people or providers who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask whether we hold personal information about you and to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy. Requests can be sent to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity, and legal exceptions may apply. Taiwan data subjects also have the rights provided by Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act.
10. International processing
DooLuma is operated from Taiwan and uses providers that may process information in other countries, including the United States and European locations. We take reasonable steps to use providers and contractual protections appropriate to the services enabled.
11. Children’s privacy
See the separate Children’s Privacy Notice. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. Changes
We may update this policy as the website, services, or law changes. We will post a revised effective date and provide additional notice when required.
