How to Draw a Frog for Kids

This frog starts with a wide head that already has two bumps on top for the eyes, so the shape does a lot of the work. The long arms and big back legs come later. It is a cheerful drawing that children love to make as goofy as possible.
Make it your own
Add a lily pad to sit on, a pond with wavy ripples, or a fly buzzing just out of reach. A long tongue mid-catch and a few splashes make the scene really funny.
Draw a frog in four steps
Step 1
Draw a wide rounded head with two bumps rising from the top edge for the eyes.
Step 2
Add a rounded body below the head, leaving the bottom edge open.
Step 3
Draw two arms reaching out to the sides and two large back legs with webbed toes at the bottom.
Step 4
Finish with two big round eyes inside the bumps and a very wide curved smile across the face.
