How to Draw a Bear for Kids
Draw a soft, standing teddy-style bear in four simple visual steps. Rounded shapes throughout make this a comforting, screen-free project for beginner artists ages 4–8 to finish in one sitting.
See the grown-up comparison guides before you buy.
This bear begins with one rounded head, then the two little ears turn it into a bear straight away. The standing body with its tummy patch is the only step that takes a bit of planning. Take your time with it and let your child lead the finishing face.
Make it your own
Give your bear a honey pot, a jar of berries or a little red scarf. Draw a forest of simple triangle trees behind it, or a cave doorway for a cosy winter sleep.
