How to Draw a Panda for Kids

This panda starts from one dome-shaped head and becomes instantly recognisable the moment the two black ears go on. The dark eye patches at the end are the most fun part to colour in. Work through the steps together and let your artist do the filling in.
Make it your own
Hand your panda a stalk of bamboo, or draw a whole bamboo grove with tall striped stems. A second panda rolling on its back turns the page into a playful pair.
Draw a panda in four steps
Step 1
Draw a dome shape for the panda’s head, rounded on top and flat underneath.
Step 2
Add two round ears on top of the head and colour them both in solid black.
Step 3
Draw a rounded sitting body below with two short arms and two legs resting at the front.
Step 4
Finish with two large black eye patches holding shiny eyes, a small nose and a smiling mouth.
